PMS Mood Swings...
Something which have been bugging me most is my dear's PMS mood swings...
I don't know how much patience more do I have to take it occasionally every month, but it seems like during these period of time, she gets agitated easily and I have to apologize uncountable amount of times.
Furthermore, there'll be times of HUGE argument if I run out of patience.
So, what is Menstrual Mood Swings?
here's some of the explanations which I found online:
I may not know how it feels to be a girl undergoing PMS but I can assure you nobody can understand what pressure and stress I'm undergoing. Definitely not the average stresses and pressures which normal 22 year old faces. If you say being a student is stressful, to me it's just child's play. How I wish I was stressing about assignment rather than the stuff which I'm stressing about now.
I just hope that my dear would be understanding enough to not show me her colors whenever she gets menstrual mood swings.
P1 WiMax Coverage Abnormalities or Just my luck?
I've been feeling weird about this.
Recently, P1 WiMax had been undergoing service upgrade.Sounds like good news? well, not for me.
They say they are expanding their coverage area and so I was hoping that they'll finally cover my area but instead... I got this after my upgrade:

Before the upgrade, the highlighted red-part below wasn't in existance...
Therefore, even after the bloody upgrade, my area is left in a gap between the existing coverage area and the newly covered area... this sucks!! WTF!!

Knowing
It's been awhile since my last sane entry. Well, I've not much to blog about, just a review of a movie which I've recently watched.
I watched Knowing with my fellow colleauges after our company dinner at 1U and we went to grab this ticket last minute as the Shinjuku Incident was selling fast.
I've heard reviews from viewers and friends that this movie is not bad, so we decided to give it a try.
The sound and video effects were great and I've no complain about it accept the ending, but I would still watch it the second time if given the chance.
This movie holds come truth to it except the predicting the future and ending part. Watch it and you'll know what I mean.
All in all, I would recommend you to watch this movie if you've watch "The Day the Earth Stood Still" and liked it.
The next movie which I'm anticipating and have the same genre as Knowing and The Day After Tomorrow is -- 2012.
I've watched the trailer (2012 teaser trailer) and I'm really eager for it to be released.
There are a few rumors about 2012:
1) It is said that the Mayan Calendar ends in the year 2012, 23rd December, and this show is about what will occur when that happens.
2)There is also a rumor that during December 21, 2012, our Solar System will align with our Galaxy(Milky Way) center.

A period of loneliness
Recently, I've been feeling lonely... I do not mean lonely as in literally but emotionally...
Take last Saturday for instance.. I was supposed to decide whether should I invite my two best buddies to my poolside party, but because there was some conflict between my parents and my best buddies last time.. I was in a dilemma..
So I told Dydy that I wanted to invite them because without them it would be rather dull.. because if they weren't there, Martin and my college friends wouldn't get alone, as my two buddies are something like a bridge connecting them... so I insisted on inviting them.. However, Dydy told me that my parents do not allow me to invite them but then I wondered to myself, why in the first place they asked me to decide whether to invite them or not when they do not want them there... So I tried to sort things out with my parents but ended up arguing with them.. then I thought that my dear would side me and comfort me but instead she got mad at me for arguing with my parents, insisted that I apologize and called me childish and kiddish..
I was deeply scarred by her words.. I felt so lonely that I'm left alone by the two sides whom I thought loved me the most...
Today was another day that I felt that loneliness..
I was chatting with my dear online and asking her about some hotel bookings stuff for our Australia trip in May, but she seems eager to go offline to play her games instead because she said being online on Skype makes the game lag and crash.
So from her messages in Skype I could feel that she's annoyed by me asking about the hotel stuffs and just wanted to offline because she states that she wants to go offline twice.
In the end, she just ended with a "love you, bye".
Normally she would be like "alrite, anything message me on Skype ya" "love you dearie" and etc, you know, those lovey-dovey stuff.. but this time is just like "love you, bye"... So, of course I felt like the game is more important than me... Sigh.. even now as I'm writing this entry... I'm writing this out of loneliness and disappointment.. normally now we would be chatting over the phone or Skype...
Well... I guess I'll just sign off here...

I've been in CabalSEA forum recently and there many flame being thrown at me just because I told off some kid that they've went off-topic.

Now I can be sure that I'm not those ah beng / kiddish type that uses foul language when being attacked verbally. Futhermore, I'm being attacked 3 on 1.
My first taste of manual... is a pain =.="
Today I had my first driving lesson in a manual car. Surprisingly I handled it quite smoothly, only 3 times the car brokedown.
1 time was when I first tried out the clutch.
1 time was when I was up the hill.
1 time was when I forgotten to press the clutch before I break.
What I hate is that there's no power steering, but it was still ok, not too hard to handle.
The clutch part was surprisingly easy. I thought it would be hard to do balancing as I've heard from many people that people normally fail in the 'bukit' part (slope), but to me, it was a piece of cake or maybe my instructor is good.
Well.. I've got 5 more lessons to go before my exam on 30th of this month. Hopefully I'll be able to get used to manual soon as I've drove AMT far too many times and got used to it, lol XD
P1 WiMax
Today during lunch hour, I went back to my home area for lunch.So happen I saw P1 had a stall set up at the side of the road to promote their service at my area.Upon knowing that my area is now under the coverage of P1, I immediately sign up for the 15-days trial period which doesn't require you to pay even a single cent upfront.
After work (which is now), I came home and tested out the new connection. Although the signal color on my P1 modem shows that it is weak (red), but it was still fast as I only need about 5 seconds to load the login page of Blogger (maybe cache?)

I took the RM99/month package which is a 1-year subscribtion contract which I have to add-on an additional RM20/month on-top of the RM99/month for the modem for a year, that is if I decide to stick with P1 after the 15-days trial period.
The installation is hassle free, except the fact that they recommend you to place the modem near the window. I find this request quite ridiculous because I do not have any plugs near the window in my room... and furthermore, their power adapter wire is quite short as you could see in the picture above.
You could make this connection wireless by simply plugging the LAN cable which is connected to the P1 modem to a wireless router (as told by the salesman). Well.. so far, my area at Seksyen 17... The connection sucks =( well... to bad for me I guess... since their transmission tower is quite far from me... My say is.. unless your area is listed as a hotzone, don't get it.. Just because the epicenter of the transmission might be near your area, but it doesn't mean you could get blazing fast speed... I'm gonna cancel mine tomorrow unless they can promise me a minimum of 1mb by the end of this week..

I decided to use the P1 yet again even after I ranted about it, as you can see, the screenshots are taken a day after I created this entry. I'm left with no choice but to adhere to P1 service because Maxis has throttled by broadband connection since Maxis only allows a pitiful 3GB/month limit. To my surprise, the P1 connection turns out to be quite fast. I could enjoy a game of Cabal without delays and I could also join various Left 4 Dead games on Garena without severe lagness. One thing I notice about the P1 service is that, the longer you use it, the more stable it becomes.

Distance...
I'm beginning to realize that my friends who I treated them as best friends are becoming more distant..
They seldom joke, talk and even care less of my participation in their activities..
And the way they replies me nowadays are all one sentence then done, there's no humour in it like it used to be...
Just because that I'm in a relationship now doesn't mean that I have to be treated this way.. Does it mean that if I want to join them, I have to be single? Doesn't make sense to me..
Aren't friends supposed to accept each other through thick and thin? Aren't friends supposed to be supportive and lend a helping hand when we need them?
Or are friends just there when you are like them?
I don't understand.. I've always been a "once a friend, forever a friend" kind of person and I still am now.. but it seems that my friends are giving me the 'cold-shoulders'...
Commitments
Well, the long awaited December has passed by... A month filled with public holidays I would say..
I personally enjoyed the month of December because there's little works and managers/superiors are on leave * ;-) *
By the start of this month, January, I'm supposed to be appointed as a confirmed staff in my currect company and hopefully a pay-rise.
Although at my age, most guys would still be study-bound but in my case, I've already started working for my future.
I wouldn't say it's because I cant study or I'm bad in studies.
Ask any of my college friends and they'll proof you wrong if you think I fail in studies.
It's just because some complications occured and now I'm here today. No no, it has nothing to do with my owing anyone money =.=" dont get the wrong idea...
Anyway, I've already been working a year plus. I started off as a Graphic Designer in an advertising firm and found that my interest still lies in programming.
Therefore, I seeked for a job in this sector, as a programmer.
Now I'm a programmer for 3 months already and I'm really happy for this job, because it's flexible and most of all, the people here are friendly and there are no office politics.
I'm approaching 22 years of age this April 2009 and I'm already slowly getting filled up with commitments, although it's not much compared to many people, but it's already alot for my current capability.
I'm gonna get a car soon, which means I've to worry about petrol spendings.
Since I'm gonna be pumping petrol alot, I'm already applying for a credit card *no no, not plat ok!*
That's already a commitment of petrol spendings and credit card bills + annual fees *will try to make them waive the annual fees off =P *
Moreover, I'm already in the process of converting my number into a postpaid line and I'm also sub-ing a line for my dear. Which means extra monthly fees commitment.
*bills bills & more bills*
In total, I have like 3 commitments so far and not to mention I've to give my grandfather pocket money and also contribute to me and my dear's joint account.
To weigh it all, I've quite a handful of commitments.
No wonder adults keep telling us not to be in a hurry to grow up. However, I like the feeling of earning my own cash $$ *ka-ching =P *
Anyway, we all have to grow up someday, as time will not stop.
So, cheers to the New Year and cheers to the many opportunities ahead of us!!
