I've just got an iPod Nano 3rd Generation for my Christmas present.
Sounds terrific right??
NO!!
Apple is a bloody damn marketeer!!
You can't use an iPod Nano 3rd Generation unless you have iTunes 7.4 or above AND a Mac OS X 10.4.8 and above!!
Bloody hell!! WTF??!!
Do you know how expensive is an iPod??
It should be backward compatible!!
I mean it's just transferring damn songs to the iPod!!
Why do we need such updated OS for??
Is it because older version of Mac OS are so stupid till they need an upgrade just to transfer songs to a bloody player??!!
It's so farking un-reasonable!!
It's so farking marketing!!
Thanks Apple!! You've just screwed up my Christmas cheer!!
Oh yea, and a not-so Merry Christmas to Apple!! Cbb Knn!!
Apple is Rotten!!
I'm off to Europe!!
Woo hoo~~ I'm leaving for Europe tomorrow!!
Just the thought of it gets me all hyped up!!
Can't wait to wake up tomorrow, step into the Limo, check in my luggage and relax in the MAS Golden Lounge while waiting to board the plane.
I've gotta sleep early today but I haven't packed yet..
Arggghhh~~ It's all because of the new anime my friend borrowed me!!
It's too funny to resist!!
For gotten the anime's name, if not, I'll recommend it to you =P
I'm so gonna shop-till-I-drop there.
Don't worry guys, I'll get loads of whiskey back and drink with you all till we all drop!! LoL XD
My plan is to get myself some nice shirts, t's, sweaters, jeans, shoes, perfume and maybe some gadgets while I'm in London.
As for Belgium, maybe there'll be less shopping but more drinking.
Yea yea, I'm not gonna drink a lot, because I don't wanna get a beer belly now do I? Since I've started body building and all =D
I'm just gonna do some sampling here and there, LoL.
However, I'm not forgetting the main objective..
That's having loads of fun and taking loads of pictures!!
Well, I'v gotta sign off here now~~
Till I'm back, adieu all~~!!
10 Days Countdown to the Departure to Europe!!
Hey Hey~~ Peepz!!
Hmm.. not bad.. I've been blogging a lot lately..
and my entries are improving too.. (included pics, LoL =P)
Sigh.. but I still have very little readers coming..
Anyways, readers or no readers, I'm still gonna post whatever I like.
Today's the 20th of November 2007. I'll be leaving for London and Belgium
in exactly 10 days time.
Woo hoo~~
Oh~~ Martin, Kz, Kev.. Don't be sad.. It's only a 10 days trip.. LoL XD
Don't miss me, bcoz I'll only miss girls =P
Ok ok, in this entry I'll be posting about my preparations for this trip.
It's nothing special actually but at least this time I'm better prepared this time compared to the past two times.
I've been checking out the London's weather forecast for the past few days on BBC online. It seems that it's chilling there, well obviously isn't it?? It's winter after all.
What I'm hoping for?? Of course it's snow!! I'm hoping for some snow.
If London do not snow I wonder if Belgium will.. We're making a stop by Paris too if we have the time, but sadly.. Switzerland is too far to make a stop by..
Anyway, here's what I've bought.. and I still feel the pain..
Here is my newly bought Zara Winter Coat:
Size: M
Here is my newly bought Camel Active Boots:
Size: UK - 8, US - 9, EUR - 42
And of course, a men is never complete without his perfumes.
This is my collection of perfumes:
And my newly bought Mont Blanc perfume:
So, guess I don't have to give you hints why my heart is feeling the pain.. LoL =P .
Yea yea Martin, I know that you have Burberry, Bvlgari, Ralph Lauren, Valentino, Lacoste Sportif and stuffs like that, but for my level of income, this is my best.
So stop scolding "ccb" and "knn" for saying you're rich, and stop laughing!!
Well, that's all folks!! By the way, my Vios 1.5S has been delayed till March or April due to unforeseen circumstances. Well, ciao all!!
Not Happening
Hey peepz!! Waz up?! Nothing much happened these few days because all of it was happy stuffs, LoL =P .
Anyways, just wanted to blog about a sms I received from a man. When I read it, I was like "huh?!", LoL XD. Looks like my blog have a frequent visitor or should I say stalker.
Can't believe I have such a 'faithful reader', LoL XD . Anyhow, I did take action against dat 'someone'. I restricted my blog's permission to only the peepz that I invite.
Then I went for a late night drink with two of my best buddies, Martin and Daniel, I told Martin about it but he said I shouldn't let that 'someone' stop me from posting the TRUTH or scare me till I have to hide my blog. And guess what?! He's right. I shouldn't be afraid of anyone.
Anyhow, this is not an entry to blog about my sadness because I have NONE anymore!! From now on, I'm gonna live my life the way I want it!! And not the way someone else wants it to be. To those peepz who intensely controls other peepz's life, get a life!! Because our life is our own to decide, not someone else!! Anyway, I'm not a preacher but I still have to say this. "Life is but one and once in a lifetime, LIVE it the way YOU want it to be!!" (not the bad way la, LoL XD ). Anyway, I wanna thank my best buddies again. Take care all, Cheers!
Yan's Birthday
Hey peepz!! Waz up?! Waz up?! Lol, yea, the title's similar to the previous post's title because both events that happened in the previous post and this post have similar location. Anywayz, on with the entry.
Last Saturday night (3rd of November 2007), it was my college classmate's birthday. She has invited almost 30 of her friends including my group of friends who are also her friends because we're all in the same course. If not mistaken, our group is the largest group among all the peepz that are invited to her birthday party.
We're invited to have dinner at Naili's, Uptown. Ala Carte style and guess what?! We could order all we want because it's buffet + ala carte style, but of course, we're not that bad, Lol. Anywayz, her party was quite a success because most of the invited guest came, all except for 1 (very obvious aiming at Yiaw). Met almost all of my course classmates there which consists of Jimmy (aka. The Bouncer due to his huge biceps and abs), Elvis, Ming Yan, Kenn, Kazu (aka. Daniel), Hakenden (aka. Kevin), Yan Yan (the birthday princess), Boon Yean, and Shirley.
Not to mention, Yanz even invited two of her favourite lecturers which are Ms. Deebha and Ms. Yen Nee.
The schedule was supposingly as follows:
- Dinner at Naili's by 7.30 PM
- Game time after dinner.
- Birthday cake time!!
- Photo shoot with the birthday princess.
- Tasting the birhtday cake, lol, I meant eating.
- Pack up and cabut to Luna Bar.
- Drink till all drop.
- Split the joint and hit the sack.
but it's in our culture to be late, so what can I say.. Anywayz, that made everything much more interesting. So, the Saturday started as follows:
I stayed at home, lepak-ed at my favourite couch while allowing myself to be 'mesmerized' by the movies of HBO and Cinemax till around 3.00 PM. I went upstairs and took a refreshing bath. Changed back into my home clothes and called Mart to meet up by 4.00 PM for a drink at the Old Town coffee house near my office. Called Daniel and Kevin to tag along too.
We met Mart at the coffee house around 4.20 PM (because Mart was late). We chatted about Mart's plan for his Perdana to undergo some major modification, driving techniques, car parts/accessories, and about the new Vios I'm getting over 2 glass of Ice White Coffee, 1 cup of Hot White Coffee, 1 Ice Milk Tea, 1 some blended ice drink that Kevin ordered, and two glass of ice water.
We chatted until 6.30 PM and split the joint because Mart wants to get back home and we have to get to Kenn's house by 6.45 PM to pick him up. It was kind of jam on the way to Kenn's house from Sunwaymas Commercial Center due to the expansion of the bridge's road that leads to Centerpoint. Somehow, we managed to reach Kenn's house on time. Met Jimmy, Elvis, Ming Yan, Kenn, and Kenn's roommate there. Jimmy, Elvis, and Ming Yan left back to their home for a change of clothes first and we waited for Kenn to change his clothes too.
After Kenn was ready and prepped up, we went to SS2 to dropped his friend at a party first (we can't believe our eyes when we saw at least there are 3 houses having party at the same time.). We then went to Baker's Cottage to collect the custom ordered 3kg key-shaped birthday cake which costs RM 151.60 which was shared by peepz that didn't get Yanz a birthday present. Me and Daniel didn't paid for the cake though because we got Yanz a mocha colored shirt and a white jacket.
It was around 7.30 PM when we collected the cake and was on our way to Naili's. We arrived and found a parking around Naili's around 7.45 PM, and we thought we were late. We took the huge cake up to Naili's reception and on the way we met Boon Yean, and luckily it was not Yanz, because she doesn't know about the cake. We pass it to the Naili's reception to handle the birthday cake surprise event and we headed to the 'Comfort Room' where the room is booked by Yanz for the event.
We went inside and saw that only less than 10 person sitting there and it was already 7.50 PM. The table was arranged with a lot of the normal square 4 sitting tables into 1 long table. We sat there and examine the menu which consists of our local delicacies and western menu. We wanted to wait for everyone to arrive before we start ordering our food, so we started out with drink, which we all order different drinks so we could all have a taste of each other's drink. Poor Jimmy order a drink called Mermaid which tasted like cough drops. While I played safe and order a drink within my choice which is a Naili's Blended Mocha with whipped cream.
Between the waiting and after the guests arrived, Yanz took pictures with all of us. It took about 30 minutes of waiting till all of the guest arrived. We then ordered our food and the dinner began. I ordered my all time favourite medium-rare sirloin steak. Daniel ordered a Sizzling Hot-Plate Yee Mee (which his arrived the earliest), Jimmy and Kevin ordered a Carbonara, Elvis ordered a Marinara, and Ming Yan ordered the most expensive of all on the menu, a Sizzling Sirloin Steak.
After the dinner, Yanz made all of us participate in a treasure hunt game which the items are roughly as follows:
1) A strand of white hair.
2) An eyedrop.
3) A cosmetic item.
4) A belt.
5) A ring.
6) A pair or earring.
7) A nail-clipper or pocket knife.
8) A pack of tissues.
9) A plaster.
10) A battery.
11) A box/pack of sweets.
12) A watch.
13) A 5 cent coin.
14) An aspirin.
Lol, we practically have all of the items with us. Daniel had to resort to running to his car and get his nail-clipper from there, and to our surprise, he went to the nearest pharmacy to get the rest of the items such as aspirins, and plasters. He's desperate or what?! Lol XD . While I have to resort to use the nail-clipper and look for a strand of white hair amongst Jimmy's head of hairs, lol, he has a lot though XD . The result? Our group, me, Daniel, and Jimmy, won.
After the game, Jimmy, Kenn, Elvis, Elvis's friend, and Daniel went for a smoke outside Naili's, which I followed although I don't smoke. We all went back upstairs and Yanz was starting another game of hers, which goes like she'll ask you to name stuffs start from an alphabet and it wasn't easy. The punishment? Eat a plate of fried rice with 'extra spices' added by Yanz herself. Lol, which Yanz ate a bite herself because we all chant for her to eat it XD .
During the middle of the 2nd round, the band which is playing at Naili's called Yanz and all of us out for the cake cutting ceremony. The band sang a nice birthday song, and made Yanz blushed so much till it's visible even at the dark and romantic environment of Naili's. After cutting the cake, the band made Yanz's boyfriend go up the stage and sing a love song for her which she again blushed like crazy. We went back into the room soon after that to feast upon the cake. After that, the peepz started to leave one by one because it was kind of late, 10.30 PM or so.
Jimmy and Kenn left to fetch In Ming here for the next event. The peepz that were in for the next event was Yanz, her boyfriend, her friend (a girl), her friend's boyfriend, me, Daniel, Kevin, Jimmy, Kenn, Elvis, Ming Yan, and In Ming. At first, it was fixed that we all go to Luna Bar at Pan Global hotel in KL, but then it changed to Zeta Bar in KL Hilton, then it changed to Mardi Gras at 1 Utama, then I suggested Souled Out at Sri Hartamas, but in the end we all ended up at Blackhole at Sri Hartamas.
It was quite packed there but we managed to find a spot where we could arrange 3 tables into 1 table. Me and In Ming decided to open a bottle of Jose Cuervo Tequila. The bar girl brought 9 glass and bucket of ice, sprite and of course the Tequila. The bar girl seemed to be interested in drinking the Tequila pop style, so in the end, we all drank Tequila pop. The first bottle was finish in a matter of minutes, lol XD . Me and In Ming drank most of the first bottle. Yanz and her boyfriend ordered a sort of fruit punch looking drink, and her friend and her friend's boyfriend ordered a bucket of Heineken.
We told the bar girl that it was Yanz's birthday, so it's Blackhole's policy to give Yanz's a Flaming Lamborghini. Once the drink was prepared, she gulped it down, and she went down with the drink, Lolz XD . She was knocked out moments after the drink. After the first bottle, it was already my 8th glass or so. Kenn was knocked out the start of the second bottle. Elvis and Ming Yan didn't drink a lot, therefore, they're still goofing around while pouring In Ming and me thick amount of Tequila with only little sprite to pop.
Anywayz, by my 18th serving of Tequila popped, I was already ready do whatever that's on my mind. I felt really brave and confident when I was drunk. Yea, I know what I'm still thinking when I'm drunk. I went to the toilet to puke, and came back to the table and took In Ming's Tequila and gulped it down, then I poured myself some more Tequila, and drank again. When In Ming poured his Tequila, I took his again, Lol XD . Then I bent over the glass railing and puke on the bushes on the other side.
Lol, after I've puked, I know how to take out my fresh mint and popped 2 mints. I wanted to grab the Tequila bottle and pour myself another glass but In Ming told Jimmy to keep it away from me, Lol. Anywayz, after I've settled down and drank some plain water, it's Kenn's turn to go to the toilet to puke. Me, In Ming, Daniel, Kevin, Elvis, and Ming Yan went to the toilet to see what happened, and whoa, the whole toilet floor was full of puke. I walked back to the table but after a few steps, I've already loss balance and was falling but luckily Daniel, Kevin, and In Ming got hold of me.
We went back to our table and rest for a while, and we took our leave after that. On the way back to the car, I think the alcohol got the better of me because I ran away from them and they've got a chase of their life because I tried to ran away a few times, Lol. Even after I got into the car, I opened the door and tried to run again but In Ming caught me and closed the door. I tried to wind down the window and climb out, but In Ming caught me again, Lol. Luckily there was no road block because all of us had at least 40% alcohol content in us, while I think mine and most of the group's contents would've soar off the charts, Lol =P .
Anywayz, it was a really great experience guys!! And I would like to thank Yan Yan for the dinner and that she looked wonderful that night =D . I would also like to thank the guys, Daniel, Kevin, In Ming, Jimmy, Elvis, and Ming Yan for controlling me while I was drunk. Don't worry guys, I'll not drink so excessively next time, because I would like to try out various cocktails next time, Lol =P . Alright, ciao all!!
Random Outing
Yesterday, me and my buddy Martin went out for lunch on a last minute basis because I'm quite busy the past month with all the jobs rushing in for the Christmas rush. After lunch at McD Centerpoint, he sent me back to my office and we chatted again on MSN. During lunch, you'll never guess what Martin has done to his car. He disabled his ABS because he said it's disturbing, but he did enabled it back after lunch. At the McD parking, he revved his engine to around 7000rpm just to show me the power of his V6 engine. Lol, the McD take-away counter peepz were looking at us as Mart is revving his engine, and when he pulled out of the parking lot, as he drove he pulled his handbrake to make a screeching sound just for fun.
Anyhow, we wanted to meet up at night because Martin arranged for a meet with a girl for me (I know, damn sweat rite?), but I told him on MSN that I'm busy and I might not be free at night, but all of a sudden, my boss told me that I could go home early. So I called Martin for a drink. We agreed to meet up and we'll meet at my house because I wanted to head back home for a refreshing bath first and of course a change of clothes since I've work all day.
He called me around 8.15pm yesterday night and told me that he needed to head to Sunway to collect something first and he'll fly straight to my house to fetch me. So I said alright, but never did I expect him to actually meant that he'll 'fly' so fast and arrive so early. He called me at 8.15pm saying he'll be late and here he is at my front gate by 8.30pm. Sunway and my house is at least 30mins away by car.
Anyhow, after he had picked me up, we stopped at the side of the road to call the girl to check whether she's free to come out for a drink, but to my disappointment, she's not free as she has to attend school tomorrow morning. Argghh!! I've wasted my Sean Jean perfume for nothing.
Anyway, since the girl isn't free, we called another friend of ours, Jeremy, to join us. We went to picked up Jeremy at his house in SS1 and head to 'Chow Yang' (now called Mee Yoke Lim, a stupid name) for dinner, because me and Jeremy didn't had our dinner yet. After dinner, we made a spontaneous decision to drive down to KL to the clubbing hub. Martin revved his engine a few times to kind of show-off to other cars.
We drove around Jalan P. Ramlee. Lol, imagine that, we purposely drove down to KL from PJ just for the fun of it. On the way home, Martin really speed things up and he even tried to overtake a Civic back to PJ at high speed. We wanted to head to Sri Hartamas for a drink at Souled Out, but because he was to taken in by lil' 'race' with the Civic, we overshot the turning and went straight to Damansara Jaya. We could've overtook the Civic if it wasn't for Mart's front wheels. So we made a U-turn and since it's a kind of a straight road to Sri Hartamas, he once again, speed to the destination.
At Souled Out, we couldn't find any parking, so we head for Uncle Don's for some drink. At Uncle Don's we chatted about various topics but the most significant was the topic 'Why does girls have to play mind games with boys?!'. We all have problems understanding girls.. sigh..
We chatted till 1am and we headed home, but as the pass the opposite lane of Bukit Kiara, there's a police road block there. Every car was checked but we managed to pass without any problems, but there's this guy in a Mercedes CLK 55 AMG who kept staring at us. Maybe it's because he thinks "this kiddo must've been drinking and look that the way they dress, they're sure in for some trouble at the road block.". Lol, because my hair's all spiky but I was dressing quite smartly like I'm all ready for clubbing, Mart's eye length hair's all down with a red cap over his head and with a red T and 3 quarter pants makes him look like a street racer, while Jeremy has really short hair and dressed casually with just a brown T and a jeans.
After the road block, Mart wanted to chase up with the Mercedes CLK 55 AMG, but there were cars blocking and not to mention it's a 5500cc Mercedes for goodness sake. There's no way a Perdana V6 could out race that shit. It was not long when Mart once again tried to overtake a Vios 1.5G, a women driver, it was just for the fun of it. Martin managed to overtake her and reached the toll but too bad the Vios has a Smart Tag while Mart only have a Touch n Go, lol XD .
Anyway, yesterday was quite an interesting day and it's really nice to spend sometimes with my buddies just chatting about anything over cups of drinks. All in all, it was really a relaxing and nice experience for me. Cheers guys!!
The Bold & Desperate
Recently, I've been socializing a lot, even over the Internet. I've joined a community called Fresh Faces. It is suppose to be a website to discuss about each month's MYC!'s magazine cover model, but I met a guy there who keep bombarding sarcasm at me like we're meant to be arch nemesis. So we've been bombarding sarcasm at each other for almost a whole month and it's still ongoing.
Surprisingly, it made the whole discussion board more lively because the account members there are.. let's say, not outgoing enough. It used to be only that guy (he's called devilicd, but I call him D) 'haunting' the place but now I've joined too, and let's say I'm a self-proclaimed discussion board 'exorcist', lol XD . Hey D!! I ain't leaving anytime soon, so you better prepare your 1001 sarcasm guide.
To be honest, I wasn't as outgoing as I am now a few months back, but after the incident (read my blog entry entitled 'New Life, New Chapter'), I've found myself to be much bolder than before (don't think dirty Mart, if you're reading this). Anyhow, recently, I've been really desperate to find myself a partner to share my ups and downs with. Yea, I know, I know, being desperate only keep the girls away, but hey!! I'm already 20 man, and I've only been in 1 relationship and it wasn't my cup of tea because the girl practically played with my feelings (read my blog entry entitled 'Shattered Sky').
I'm a guy who's not into short-term relationship. I'm more into a long-term relationship, because what's the point of loving someone if you're just into short-term relationship? It's painful to be played out by someone who you poured your entire heart into. Anyhow, I'm gonna stop here, don't wanna sound anymore desperate.
Loneliness..
To be honest, this will be one of my most embarrassing topic. Well, my story is as follows. For the past few weekends I've been hanging out with my friends going here and there for drinks, movie, and shopping. And since we're a bunch of guys, our eyes are um.. let's say, are sensitive towards girls, especially pretty/cute chiqs (even if it's someone else's girlfriend).
The more I see, talk, think about this things, the more sad, lonely, and angry I felt. Mart once told me to be confident and go and pick up girls and it's not about shyness, because it'll either be a failure or success. If I try, I'll have a chance that it'll be successful, but I don't try, the chance will not exist at all. Sigh.. guess I need to learn to be more confident..
Disappointment..
Well, the title couldn't get anymore direct than this.
I felt as though I've disappointed my best buddy.
As I'm working for an advertising agency, my friend has asked me whether am I interested in handling his soon-to-online company website.
He said that he offered the job to me since I'm his friend and he knows me well.
I was interested but it's a pity that my company has just recently ventured into web development.
We do not have enough specialist for this job, because it's just me alone.
Therefore, when I told my friend that I couldn't help him, I felt really bad because I thought I could quote him a cheaper price compare to the market price.
Sorry Mart!! Anyhow if I do get new jobs in which requires premiums, I'll contact you first hand. Cheers!!
Friends and Family
For the past few days it was all fun for me. I've been meeting up with my best friend for tea again and went out for movies a few times. After that I began to feel guilty. It's not that I've done something wrong but the fact that my aunt and grandfather has taken me in after I've ran away from home, I barely spent time with my grandfather. Although I've spent most of my time drinking with my aunt and her friends (even more than I spent with my friends), I feel that I've spent little time with my grandfather.
Therefore, the whole of the raya weekend, I've spent my time with my grandfather at home playing mahjong to entertain him (no idea how to play, just throw n take whatever tiles I get my hands on =P), of course, my aunt was there as we needed 3 players =P. Yesterday I've promised my friend that I'll meet them for tea in the evening, but I had to turn them down because I wanted to spend more time with my grandfather. I'm sorry that I could not come guys!! Well, guess we sometimes have to compromise. We can't get the best of both worlds, right??
Ticking Thoughts
September 25th 2007.
Dear Memoir,
Here I sit on my black armchair in my office at 12.08 P.M. thinking of the past events that has happened to me. The event that impacted me most was my runaway from home, but that doesn't seemed to matter now. The thought that is bothering me on this very precise moment is a girl. During one night, an sms came in. It was from her. I was asleep during the time I read the sms from her. Yes, I do have a crush on her but the very sms I'v received on that night was her asking me what would happened is she said she has feelings for me. Well, I replied saying that I wouldn't deny that I liked her too because it was the truth, but I'm not the type of person who forces people.
She never replied. We chat on msn a few week later and it somehow led to a major confrontation. She asked me whether is she giving me any hope because she isn't, and as a guy, I have pride too. I told her that she isn't giving me any hope and I hope that I'm not giving her any either, but the truth, is in fact, contradicting my own answers. I wanted there to be a chance for both of us but I didn't want to hurt our friendship. We used to sms each other from morning till nightfalls just to talk about things that wouldn't matter to anyone.
But destiny has it's own plan. Although I didn't confessed, but we haven't talked to each other ever since that day on the msn. The next day I checked my friendster, and she wrote a shoutout that seems to have pierced me through my heart. It says, "Please do not give me hope when there are none. Love can be sweet and bitter.. but it's mostly bitter for me.". I didn't know that I've gave her hope but she told me we're just friends. I didn't know that I've hurt her, but how would I know what she wanted?! She talked to me in a way that it seems that she doesn't want to give me any hope and she doesn't want to give me any chances.
Sigh.. Although I do not know the meaning of love but in my heart, I know that I'm always concern about her. Everytime she tells me she's waiting for her mom in her tuition center during the night over sms, I always tell her to be careful and be vigilante, because it isn't safe for her to be alone at night. Well, I know I'm just capable to saying what's in my mind right now, but I really wish that I could make it up to her somehow. My friends and family always tells me to regret what I've done than regretting not doing it at all. Well, from now on, I'll hold that advice close to my heart.
My Birthday Surprise by My Friends =D
After the discussion, my project team (Me, Daniel, Kevin, and Wei Yiaw) was just sitting in the discussion room because Daniel said he had to call Boon Yean to come so that we could get some project tips from her since she's our senior by 1 term. Later, Daniel said that Boon Yean just arrived and we're going to meet up with her in Room 109. So, I innocently followed him, Kevin, and Wei Yiaw to Room 109 without having a single clue that the whole "We need to get tips from Boon Yean" thing was false. When we've reached room 109, I could see from the outside that there was no one in the room because it was dark.
I just thought that she had not arrived yet, but Daniel asked me to just go in and wait for her. But once I've stepped in, there was this two candles at the left of me and suddenly there was a chorus of "Happy Birthday" and everyone came into sight, the same group of friends who celebrated Elvis's and Ming Yan's birthday. I was really surprise and touch by their sincerity, because it wasn't even my 21st birthday but they'd still celebrate it.
I'll never forget my moments in college and it's certainly true that college life is the best experience a person could ever have even sometimes there are some ups and downs. Today is certainly a day which I'll not forget, and certainly this group of friends will always remain in my memory. They've got my favourite cake figured out, which is Black Forest and Daniel, Kevin, Wei Yiaw, and Kenn even bought a T-Shirt from Romp for me, and Yan Yan, Boon Yean, and See Tieng for the cake. Although I do not know who paid for all this, but I'm truly greatful to all of them (The Guys: Daniel, Kevin, Wei Yiaw, Elvis, Kenn, Khye, In Ming; And The Girls: Yan Yan, Boon Yean, and See Tieng) Sorry if I've mispelled a few names, but I just wanna thank you all for everything that you've all done today for me. Thanks =D !!
It's CNY, Cheers!!
26th February, 2007.
Wow, had a great time today, although it's not so great from the cash point of view. Right after class at 12pm, me and 4 other friends went for lunch near our college. They told me during class that they're planning to visit 2 of our friend's house or as the chinese says 'Pai Lin'. We first went to Yan Yan's house which is at SS2. We played Black Jack for an hour or so till 2. When I entered the house, the first thing I saw on the table was a stack of cards and a stack of RM1 bills. Lol, guess she was really ready to play. Each of us took turn to become the banker, and it seems that the luck's with Yan Yan. Genting would love her if she's working for them at the casino, lol. I'd gotton '5 Loong' once, and got double pay, and 1 or 2 '1 love', but no matter what I get, I still lost to her terribly.
The bravest banker was Wei Yiaw and Ming Yan who even though just got 16 points, they went ahead to open our cards. The 2 new bankers of the day was me and Daniel. Overall, in Yan Yan's house, Yan Yan and Ming Yan won quite a lot of money. We then went to Boon Yean's house. As usual, we greet their parents, which in this case, we just met Yan Yan's mom and Boon Yean's mom. Again we played Black Jack, and well, this time, my luck's not as bad as it was in Yan Yan's house. Maybe it's because I sat facing the place where they honour the Gods.
This time, only Ming Yan became the banker for the whole game. He lost quite a lot at first, because some of us got more points than him. I even got another '5 Loong' if not mistaken, not only me, even some of us got it. There was a lot of '1 Love' too. I remember a round where I had to use the washroom, but I asked them to go on and give my share of the cards as usual. Once I got back from the washroom, and when I straight away open my card, I got '1 Love'. It was really funny. Wei Yiaw said that he has to try visiting the washroom too, lol. Yan Yan took over the position as banker later part of the game, because Ming Yan won quite a lot already and it's also because he won when he asked us all to play 3 cards. When Yan Yan took over his place as banker, it was even worst, lol. She had quite a few '1 Love' and had 1 time '5 Loong'.
We had to play her double for each time she got '1 Love' and '5 Loong'. Anyway, it's only once a year, and It's also the first time I ever gamble. Overall, it's a really fun day and most importantly is that we all feel the fun and togetherness. We didn't quite visited all of our friend's house as it was first suggested, because 1 of our friend's parent's not home. So, we might drop by his house tomorrow after lunch. Happy Chinese New Year to all. Ciao!!
Friends Forever..
Sunday, 18th February 2007.
Last night was Chinese New Year's eve. By 10pm onwards, sms greetings started flooding in by family and friends, but one particular friend sent a sms quite late. It was 3.45am, I was sleeping when a sms came in and woke me up (no, I do not turn off my phone, period!). It was from my secondary school friend whom I haven't met in years!! (Well, at least there's 2 years.. I think..). I wrote him a testimonial last week, scolding him for not keeping in touch with me. So, last night or rather, very early this morning (3.45am), he sent me a message saying that it's been a long time since we last met, and he missed the old times. Well.. I replied to him that I missed the old times too and couldn't believe it's been 3 years already since we left our secondary school life behind.. Those tough yet fun-filled adolescence times..
Although we once wished that we graduate from secondary school A.S.A.P, but once we're outta it, we realize that it was that time where we were the most carefree compare to college. Those time where we find ways to hide when we didn't wear our name tags, badges, or our lencana sesi pagi. Sometimes, we hide in empty classrooms because we didn't felt like attending Monday assembly, but were spotted by prefects, I still remember we made an excuse that we need to use the washroom first, hoping the prefect will not follow. Sometimes we just walk away as though we didn't hear the prefect calling and ran for it. Too much memories, too lazy to write it down, lol. If my secondary school friends are reading this, they'll remember those times too, unforgettable moments I would call it.
It was the time where friends were the most true and closest. In college, you could practically use math to calculate your amount of friends. Friends = You(Popularity + Nice Car + Latest Styles). Well.. that does not apply to some people though, take me for example, I'm blessed with understanding and supportive friends. They are the few friend which are left since secondary and the ones I newly made when I started college. They know some of my most deepest secrets, they are my 3 closest of friends. Sad to say.. Some of my friends does not really know me well. I used to have another close friend, since childhood, but he went to another school after SPM for form 6. He used to be my only close friend.. but time can sometimes be cruel if you do not take the appropriate measures. However, I'm feeling that the gap between one of my 3 closest friends are starting to grow. We use to chat till late at the night for a few hours, just chatting practically about anything! Girls, music, movies, old times, future plans, heart troubles, dilemmas, gossips. Lol, practically anything.
I still remember that we swore upon graduating from secondary 5, that we all would remain friends forever. Hey, at least officially speaking, we're all still friends, but just ain't as close as before.. Sad though.. It's something about me that I treasure friends a lot, because I feel that true friends are hard to find, and even harder to maintain. Well.. whoever are my friends, will always be my friend. No matter whether we've argued before, broke up before (for girls), or had a fight before. Once a friend, always a friend, because that bond was once created. Cheers to friendship!!
A Lonely Valentine..
Thursday, 15th February 2007.
I couldn't understand how could I even have the courage to write my thoughts here in my blog for people to read (hoped that I had this much courage when I'm among girls.. Lol!!). Well, for most of you, or rather, for most of the people out there had a great time celebrating valentine's yesterday. No matter long distance or face to face, these people who celebrated valentine's surely had a better day than I do. Well.. I really dont wanna talk (or write) about this, but I have my own best interest in heart. Therefore, I decided that I'll feel better if I wrote it out.
I met my ex again yesterday (I thought she might not show up) together with a few of my friends. Felt awkward though I've countlessly told myself to act normal and just treat her as a normal friend. I even told her that we're still friends, but I just dunno why I couldn't make myself talk to her.. I just can't do it. I really felt sorry for not giving her any response or reply when she tried to talked to me (not sure whether did she even tried..), but the main point is, I still felt hurt and at the same time, sorry. I really wanted to apologise to her for avoiding her in such an obvious way. During lunch time, she offered to buy drinks for me and my friends, by the time she asked whether do I want any drinks.. I just pretend to continue eating my lunch and shook my head. I mean, what the heck!! I suppose to be forgiving and there I am, giving her the silent treatment and cold shoulders. I'm so useless sometimes..
I feel so very wrong when I got back to my house and thought of the day's event. I felt so that I'm so "siu hei", I felt that I'm worst than a girl or rather a small kid. I just can't describe how sorry I felt.. How wrong I felt.. She's a girl and i'm a guy.. and guys are suppose to care for the girls, to something like, give them whatever they want.. to admit wrong even if we know that the girls are wrong.. but.. My gosh!! What did I do.. After the meeting.. I just went home and drowned myself in songs.
Yea.. I know I shouldn't be so down.. I shouldn't be so gloomy and I'll bet that most of you will say that there's plenty more girls out there, and there'll be one meant for each of us.. But sometimes.. we can't control 100% our emotions.. Have you ever felt when you love someone so much, you'll swear that that person's the one you're meant to devote to forever? Well.. I could assume that I've found that person, but also maybe it's not.. I do not know for sure.. but I'm sure that the feeling I've had for her was really true.. Anyway, I feel better now that I've wrote it all out.. Happy Valentines to all of the couples out there. Cheers!!
Mending a Broken Heart..
February 9th 2007,
Had a great time yesterday with my group of friends which are in the same course with me in Neway karaoke at 1 Utama. It's Elvis's 21st birthday and we had a blast celebrating it. After our last lecture, me, Daniel, and Yiaw spent a lil' time in the com lab doing and discussing about our assignment. We then walked to Kenn's rented house to wait for birthday boy around 11.45pm (lecture ended early). Elvis's still attending a class. Therefore, me, Daniel, Yiaw, and Kenn played 'Chor Tai Ti' while wating for Elvis. Yiaw was somewhat a bit high while playing. He keeps talking to his hand of cards (guess he had a bit too much of Kungfu Mahjong 3). We were joined later on by Kevin and then Elvis himself. The girls called and we're off to meet them at our college's entrace (it's just next door actually). We then had to decide where to have our lunch (for those who hadn't had it yet) and whose's car to drive (5 cars in total). So we just ended up driving 3 cars.
First stop was Euro Deli, for lunch (only drinks for those who've ate earlier on). We then drove straight off to 1U. The girls had to fetch Ming Yan back to college for a while bcoz he had to pass up his tutorial, so the rest of us went straight to 1U. Me, Daniel and Kevin's in the same car, while Yiaw, Kenn, Elvis, and Khye's in another car. Found a nice parking spot at the new wing's basement parking (near the entrance). We went straight up to 5th floor to wait for the rest of them (Yiaw and the guys). Waited quite a while before they showed up. While Yiaw, Kenn, and Khye was busy doing the checking in procedures, me, Daniel, Kevin, and Elvis was busy snapping picture of ourselves (with the help of a wall mirror, we managed a nice pose =P). We went into the room first while waiting for the girls to come, bcoz they had to collect the cake too (which was damn huge!! and it costs 90 bucks!!).
The karaoke was alright and cheap (bcoz we're students which means the session's free but the peanut's damn expensive!! 8 bucks per person for 6 bowl of nuts!! It's nuts!!). We started with "God Is A Girl" by Groove Coverage as a warm up, then the girls arrives. Sang a few Chinese songs (Me, Daniel, and Kevin are 'bananas', so we didn't sang much of the chinese songs but I sang "Kuet Jin Yee Sai Jo" by Justin Lo bcoz I memorized the lyrics by heart, and Daniel also sang a mandarin song). Most of the songs we picked are all by Hong Kong artists such as Jolin, Tank and so on. Also a few by Taiwan artists such as Jay Chou.
We started singing around 2pm and disbanded at 6pm. By the late part of the session, we all sang oldies by Jacky Cheung, Westlife, Backstreet Boys, Micheal Buble, M2M, and some other Hong Kong and English artists which I've very much forgotten their names. I particularly like the song "The Day You Went Away" by M2M, it was very emotional. Anyway, the day was fun and hard to describe the fun by words. Especially the part where Elvis tried to take out the candle (which as purposely stucked deep inside the cake) from cake with his mouth, we all tried to splatter his face with cake by pushing his face into it!! Lol, he got some icing on and in his nose, as well as his chin and forehead. While Elvis tries to get the cake out of his face in the bathroom, we sliced a really huge slice of cake for him (He's the birthday boy after all). Like I've said, the cake's really huge, and each of us got quite a large portion too. Some of us cant even stuff it all down.
Elvis took pictures with each of us and we had a few funny group pics. It was a very fun and unfiorgettable day. College life's actually full of fun and laughter if you know how to handle it. Socializing with the right people's good and harmless but do not mix with the wrong people. It's a community service message by me =P, lol. Will uplaod the group picture soon enough. Ciao all.
